                                About Robot PD
                                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Robot PD is one of Britain's longest established PD  libraries,  and  has  the
largest range of CPC PD - both AMSDOS and CP/M - of any  UK  library.  Program
quality, as well, is second to none, with programs such  as  PowerPage  having
been developed for the library, and others (such as GPaint and Croco  Magneto)
having been imported and translated by Robot PD. When AA rated the top  21  PD
programs, over half were either developed or imported/translated  by Robot PD:
no other library could muster up more than two!
If you'd like a disc catalogue, please send 45p, a disc and an  SAE  to  Robot
PD, 2 Trent Road, Oakham, Rutland LE15 6HF. However, please note that delivery
will probably be slow - until, that is, my A-levels are over this  summer!  If
you're prepared to wait, I am sure that you'll find it worth your while.
Robot PD also recommends:
PD LIBRARIES
WACCI (for tape owners too), Dartsma PD, Demon PD... and definitely not Skull!
FANZINES
Artificial Intelligence (a wonderful fanzine devoted to  PD:  19  Lee  Street,
Liversedge, West Yorkshire WF15 6DZ. One issue 70p plus A5  SAE)...  Print-Out
(watch out for news of the relaunch, coming soon)...  WACCI  (the  friendliest
CPC user group by far)... don't waste your money on inferior disc fanzines!
SOFTWARE
STS Software (produces "Soft-Lok", the ultimate  128k  Speedlock  tape-to-disc
program: "The Dizzy Utility", transfers your Dizzy  cassette  games  to  disc:
"S-DOS", the new 3.5" disc operating system - compatible  with  more  programs
than any other OS!): Rob Scott, 22 North  St,  Leatherhead,  Surrey  KT22 7AT.
